Synchronicity

On my instagram page I do one daily tarot card pull for the day.

This is about today’s card.

Daughter and I woke early. It was planned. Before our day started we were going to the lake. We wanted to sit and enjoy the sun on our skin. Listen to the birds. Drink chai tea. Joy, peace, and calm before the start of our Monday. BAM. THE SUN CARD. I don’t plan this shit. It happens. Synchronicity.

The Sun card is a card of youthful pleasure and joy. It’s saying stop taking things so seriously and find time to play, to enjoy the world around you, to see the light and feel the warmth. It’s a card of vitality. It’s the card that says take care of you and all else will follow in goodness. Eat healthy, work out, wake early and enjoy those rays of sunlight. The Sun gives us energy and also relief. Below it we can be active and busy and we can relax in it. It gives you the feeling of aliveness after a long dark night. And honestly, with all the emotional work we are doing and the community work we are doing… this is a welcomed sign. Today you get a break from the heavy and sometimes dark work you are doing. We don’t always have to be so serious. So burdened with responsibility. Sometimes it’s good to take a break. Today take a break! Take in the healing of the sun and find the joy in this Monday. Know that your on a good path that is getting brighter every day, but you have to work at it and you also need to know when to stop and find the joy too.

Today’s ritual should include fire. The Sun card comes as a reminder of emotional healing still. It is connected to the solar plexus chakra, and your confidence. This break is needed to fuel the fire inside you to keep going. Eat and drink yellow and orange foods today. Wear gold. Any exercise outdoors would be good! Sit in areas with lots of light. Be playful. Say no to a request without having to justify. Go to bed early and get rest.

Have a wonderful Monday! Play and Rest Today!
